Wild mushrooms balance & support our immunity

We make our own tea blends to help us maintain health and balance. All medicinal fungi have various health benefits and can be used as prevention, for overall wellbeing or as support while coping with a health condition. According to a broad range of intended uses, we make three various blends using wild local species of forest tree fungi. We encourage you to learn more about the regional medicinal fungi species which work together in our Grand Synergy recipe. You can find most of these mushrooms in any deep natural forest in the European wilderness, and unlike their relatives growing on the ground, they do not have any dangerous look-alikes. Although a dedicated study is necessary if you want to determine them to dry them and make the tea, it is worth the endeavour.

01 — The Grand Synergy

The best traditional recently researched wood mushrooms from the wild European forests pack our immunity with precious and rare metabolites. Their potent synergy educates our organism for a quick, targeted response to both small and large threats. The mix enriches our microbiome and has a beneficial effect on our overall wellbeing.

The Grand Synergy uses fungi from Trametes, Fomitopsis, Fomes, Ganoderma, Phellinus, Daedaleopsis, Stereum and Heterobasidion species, resulting in a full and intense woody taste that awakens and boosts both energy and morale.

02 — The Balance

Mild and powerful in their action, these mushrooms have traditionally been used for human well-being for thousands of years. The mixture balances energies, helps overcome fatigue, alleviates irritability and helps the feeling of general well-being.

The “Balance” relies on benefits of Trametes Versicolor, Fomitopsis Pinicola, Fomitopsis Betulina and Fomes Fomentarius medicinal fungi working together in a fine, calming woody tea blend.

03 — Support & Help

The Grand Synergy could be tailored to meet individual needs, using the most recent scientific data about the functional fungi health benefits & activity. The custom blend should direct its action to help precisely defined conditions. We ourselves usually adapt it by adjusting the ratio and adding small and targeted parts of functional species, for instance, catalyst species as Stereum ostrea to modulate the immune response. Tailoring the personalized functional blend requires advanced knowledge and dedicated research of the specific state in order to address it so we recommend a studious approach.

The “Support & Help” is what we call personalized custom blends based on the local wild medicinal fungi species participating in the Grand Synergy. The different fungi create synergic connections in wild nature and deposit the resulting metabolites. These metabolites, taken in the corresponding ratios, activate already functional defence mechanisms that fungi developed in the wilderness. The exceptionally high similarity between the human and fungi genome allows us to use the fungi metabolites and their molecular mechanisms as part of our immune system.

The dried mushroom tea blends should consist only of dried medicinal mushrooms that grow on trees in natural forests

Of the hundreds of mushrooms with medicinal properties that we know of today, mushrooms growing on trees show the best health benefits for the human organism. Immunologically strongest fungi include all those that can survive for a long time (from 6 months to several years) without being decomposed or destroyed by environmental microorganisms.

They owe their longevity partly to their physiological structure, and partly to the secondary metabolites that they synthesize as part of an immune response to microorganisms from the environment.

Most fungi that grow on the ground have a short life cycle in which they need to grow as quickly as possible and create spores to prolong the species. Within their short lifespan, they do not expend much energy on immune responses for prolonged survival because they do not need it in their life cycle. Ground fungi synthesize pheromones to attract insects and mammals, which, by consuming them, spread spores around the environment and help them spread. They use most of their potential to express smell and taste.

The ground mushroom that we can see is a “fruit” or reproductive organ of the fungus which occasionally emerges above the soil surface. The body of such fungus is underground, in the hyphae system*. Fungi that grow on a tree are, on the other hand, tied to the tree as an integral whole, the body and the fruit in one. This difference is also an important reason why tree fungi have remarkable benefits for human health.

*The body of a multicellular fungus is composed of cells in the form of thin threads, which we call hyphae. All hyphae from one fungus make a mycelium that spreads below and above the ground (substrate).
